Study purpose
U·mar is an initiative that aims to promote Enhancing underwater archeology to make it an innovative tool for developing sustainable & creative tourism, it gathers multiple project partners from Portugal, Spain, Italy and Croatia, focused on to develop the knowledge and the valorization of heritage related to underwater archaeology.

What information do we collect?

When you voluntarily complete the online form we collect the information that you have submitted. We will ask you to answer questions about a business proposition that you are currently involved or were involved in the past. 

Confidentiality

All individual entity information submitted through the questionnaire will be kept confidential and only the collective outputs will be disclosed, for example as the average. Project Partners in U·mar will follow strictest standards of data protection. If you have any concerns or questions about how your data are handled you can contact us (see our contact details below).

The study results will be presented in U·mar tools, learning programmes and conferences or written up in reports and scientific journals. Data in such studies results will be anonymised and will be presented in terms of groups of individuals and not individually. 

Marketing

We will not use the information you provide for marketing purposes.

Participation and Withdrawal 

You are not in any way obliged to participate in this study, you can avoid answering any questions that you may feel uncomfortable with, and you may withdraw from the study at any stage without explanation. 

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data and the data we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal data, please email us.

This study follows ethical guidelines established in the Ethics and Data Management Plan of U·mar and will follow the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
